If you've never visited this delightful part of Ontario, you are in for a great surprise. Home to vineyards, sandy beaches, wonderful restaurants and this great cottage, you may just fall in love with Prince Edward County!
This new cottage has been given a contemporary look in a traditional cottage setting. The result is reclaimed and polished barnboard flooring ; a modern and fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances; comfortable furniture; a log fireplace and four bedrooms with hand crafted beds and bright decor. There is plenty of space with the open plan main floor housing the lounge, dining area and kitchen with breakfast bar. The master bedroom with ensuite bathroom is off one end of the living area with an equally attractive bedroom at the other. Sliding glass doors open off the living space, onto a large wraparound deck with views across the lawns and down the woodland path to the waterfront.
The lower floor is the family room and entertainment central, with comfortable leather furniture, large screen satellite and DVD. Two more bedrooms and a large bathroom are on this level and there are sliding doors to a rock patio.
Very private lawned gardens, winding woodland walks and lots of waterfront lounging make the outside of this cottage really special. Fishing and boating in East Lake are great so bring along your boat and moor to the dock. Or take the kayaks out for an explore around the lake. There is some weed at the waterfront, so the best swimming will be at Sandbanks Provincial Park, a short drive away. These beaches are just fantastic and if you are bringing along your dog, there's a special beach for pets too.
The County is great for exploring so you'll find maps and plenty of local tourist information to help you find your way around.
