If you want beachfront, you've come to the right place.
This Malibu style, newly renovated waterfront beach house is
located in a much desired, quiet area of Wasaga Beach. It boasts an open
concept living, dining and kitchen area. The family/living room has wall to
wall and floor to ceiling windows with a walkout to a spacious living and
dining deck which provides a panoramic view of Georgian Bay and The Blue
Mountains. Use the telescope for a better view of the bay, or turn it skyward to enjoy the moon and stars.
The kitchen is bright and contains all the essentials, and the cook can keep an eye on the family through the windows.
In good weather you'll probably want to barbecue and eat on the deck, but if you want formal dining, the table can seat your entire group comfortably.
The bedrooms and bath are located at the front of the cottage, leaving the living areas to take advantage of the waterfront views during the day.
The water is a clear, crystal blue with a hard packed sand bottom that makes Wasaga Beach famous.
It is shallow for approximately 25 metres, which is ideal for young children and non-swimmers. If the water is calm, you may wish to travel up and down
the beach in a kayak, and if the wind rises, try your hand with the windsurfer.
You can enjoy Georgian Bay's world-renowned sunsets from a deck perched atop the sand dune which overlooks The Bay and The Blue Mountains.
Should you wish to venture out, the area has something to offer everyone. The cottage is in the west end of Wasaga Beach, just east of Collingwood.
The beach is the focal point of the cottage, but the area teems with places to visit and things to do.
If you like California Dreamin' in the summer, you'll enjoy it in Winter as well - it is just 20 minutes to the ski resorts of Collingwood, and makes a great alternative
to more expensive accommodations at slope side.
